Teenager Post #414

If I insult my best friend, it is an act of love. If you insult my best friend you're just being mean. I like to think we all have this protective attitude when it comes to how our friends are treated by people outside our immediate circles.

Our History

We all came together in ninth grade. Before that we knew each other from school, but we didn't really consider oursleves friends. Something happened once we got to high school. We drifted to the familiar faces in our classes and at lunch. In doing so we found that we shared interests and a knack for being different from the group. It was probably our feelings of being misfits that helped us get along and form our group. Originally it was ten of us. We all went to homecoming together, we explored small towns, and we planned a semi-successful camping trip (watch our "How to plan a camping trip" video). The summer before our junior year, Katie moved away. Even though she goes to a different school, she still finds a way to get together with the rest of the group and be in our videos. During the school year the other nine members adopted two other girls into the group. Chelsy and Michaela are our two newest "junior" members. This is how the Terrific Ten came to be, then turned into twelve.
